Oak PREMIUM Worktops are finger joint oak boards veneered with a carefully selected wooden top layer. To achieve consistent quality, the same technique is used for the bottom layer and each of the sides. The result is an oak worktop enriched with a layer of wood of the highest quality. This line is intended for those customers who are particularly sensitive to the beauty of wood. Specially selected wood parts free from any defects, natural discolouration or scratches allow us to make absolutely perfect worktops!
The worktop wood lamellae are glued lengthways and widthways. Thanks to this gluing, the worktops maintain stable dimensions and are resistant to cracks and deformations. Unlike non-glued wooden worktops, they can be used in rooms with high humidity, for example bathrooms.
Oak MODERN Worktops comprise a high quality chipboard core with a bonded veneer on all visible surfaces, using thick layers of carefully selected oak. We use our most advanced production technologies to create the unique and beautiful Modern worktop line, featuring reduced consumption of natural resources and better care for the environment. Each worktop has a thick and robust veneer of natural oak, which can then be sanded and surface treated when required. The thickness of the natural wood veneer used on the top and side surfaces is min. 3mm. As standard, the worktops feature a transparent finish with the ‘Long Life’ coat, based on hardwax oils, hardened with LED light. An additional edging strip can be purchased with every worktop, should you need to cut the worktop.
